The core objective of the ‘Mind-U’ project is to enhance professional training and foster educational advancement through non-formal and informal learning methods for participating youth workers. This initiative aims to elevate the quality of their initiatives and projects within their respective organizations, emphasizing mental health promotion and personal well-being.
Outlined specific objectives include:
- Raising awareness about mental health and highlighting its significance to prevent and address issues arising from mental illnesses.
- Encouraging critical reflection to combat stereotypes, prejudices, taboos, and discrimination concerning mental health.
- Advocating for healthy lifestyle habits, alongside leisure, cultural, and recreational activities that contribute to improving personal well-being and mental health, leveraging artistic, creative, and innovative approaches.
- Facilitating the exchange of ideas, experiences, and best practices developed across diverse European contexts pertaining to mental health promotion, awareness, and engagement with young people.
